Courts? Bar Exam?
Does anyone know what's being done with the local courts, specifically CDC, 24th, and St. Bernard? I know 5th Circuit went to Houston, but that's all I've seen. As we've seen, these situations sometimes bring out the worst in people, and I've already got family members with custody issues, there's a concern as to the rights each parent has, and whether the non-domiciliary (can never spell that) can keep the domiciliary parent from disrupting the little stability to the child's life thats managed to be establish.
I also have my own (or rather my office's) clients and cases that were pending, I still haven't found my boss (Steven Psarellis). I realize everything's on hold, but especially with the custody issues. Our office was in Canal Place, and the last I heard about that was Saks 5th Ave. had a fire....
Along with those issues, there's a concern as to what happened with the July Bar exams. I know a few people that took it, and like everything else, rumors abound on the different blogs...
Any info available would be greatly appreciated.
