What Should Students Who Can't Relocate Do?

Thanks so much to everyone who is working so hard to get everything established and ready for so many students.

However, 1Ls have questions that are not being answered, and we need information. WHAT ARE OUR OPTIONS? I am a single parent, evening student, stuck in Monroe, and cannot re-relocate to Houston. What happens to the students who don't go to Houston? Can I sit out for the semester and start in the Spring or do I have to wait until next fall? If Southern or LSU decides to accept 1Ls, may I go there? Please address these issues.

Thanks,
Blaine Benge
1LE

I agree. There are so many questions and communication is so hard. On University of Houston's site, for one thing it says they are only taking 2 and 3Ls not 1Ls like the Loyola site says. It also says that it's supposed to start Sept. 6, which is tomorrow. People would need time to relocate. Also, why aren't Loyola officials reporting their plans to news stations so people can know what's going on. Many people can't get on the internet.

I also agree. We should have the option as to when and where we can attend school. I personally cannot relocate to Houston, yet I would still like to attend Loyola whether it be in the Spring or Fall. I think they should give us the option and should allow us the choice to enroll in the Fall as 1L's again.
