Message from Dean Bromberger, Tues., Sept. 6

Hi All,

Today Fr. Moore began preparing a schedule for the fall.

In addition to the 1L program which will be taught in its entirety, we will be
offering most large enrolment upper division courses, both common and civil.

To date, 23 faculty have indicated they are able to teach and this results in
the following courses being offered: Community Property, Evidence,
International Trade Law, Family Law, Succcessions, Conflict of Laws,
Disability Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Environmental Law, Selected
Topics in International Environmental Law, Persons, Louisiana Code of Civil
Procedure, Federal Income Tax, Trusts & Estates, Commercial Transactions,
Agency & Partnership, Law & Poverty.

If any more faculty are able to attend, more courses will be added to the list.

I am also investigating the possibility of setting up a clinic to help those
who are currently being housed in the Astrodome and other places.

We have had an offer of some extra classrooms downtown and if this additional
space is logistically viable our scheduling flexibility will increase even
further.

Please hang tough; we lon't let you down.

B.B.
