I think the most impacted are the students who will have their faculty taken away from them! Harvard took away a major employment disc scholar from my school last year. I'm glad she's back for my dissertation years. I was praying for a bitterly cold winter in Cambridge.

It's actually kind of interesting how many podiums Harvard needs to fill. I remember when I was applying there for the SJD the problems I had trying to find a faculty who could supervise my intended area (employment disc). I wonder why they rely so much on visiting profs.
