A New Film On The White Rose
(I read here, however, that the depiction of the chief judge may not have been so far-fetched.)
All in all, a disappointment. Michael Verhoeven's take on the same story had its own problems, but on the whole, I prefer it.

My wife and I watched it last night. I, personally, found it to be flawless. Certainly, there was no 'cartoon' in the character of Mohr and the President of the court. After all, the few seconds of actual film of the trial were replecated faithfully by the actor playing him as can be seen on side two of the DVD. Not a good or fair review. I wish that the reviewer would spend the 4 hours seeing both sides of the DVD.
