What Does "Integrity" Mean Again? I Can Never Remember!

ragic it is that the word most frequently looked up during the year 2005 on merriamwebster.com was "integrity."

"integrity" -- if you're a Republican -- means never having to say you're sorry . . . about (1) not anticipating that terrorists were planning on flying planes into the WTC, despite a written warning 1 month earlier, (2) catching Bin Laden, dead or alive, (3) WMDs in Iraq (not), (4) Mission accomplished, (5) Cheney saying "no" to the possiblity of an insurgency because the Iraqis would be too busy cleaning up the flowers in the streets of Bahgdad for the 3 weeks it would take until the "new, independent, western-style" Iraqi government was operating, (6) not anticipating Katrina, because who could have, (7) Brownie's good work after Katrina, (8) not anticipating the Hamas was gaining strength in the Palestinian election, because who could have, (8) [fill in the blank, as you get the picture] . . .
