Well, first of all, you must never have visited "Club USA", or "Vikings" or "Club Hana", or Bonita Lounge", if you are stating that the "buymedrinkie" girls on Guam aren't "predatory." Same same as Korea.

As far as the Korean ladies near the DMV (I have worked up there on many bases, mostly now closed with realignment south), they are just poor women that know how to get a return of investment: US military personnel aren't the "Cream of the US crop", by any means, so if they get sex and companionship, it is worth them paying for it: These ladies are their intellectual superior. Most of these ladies that DO allow themselves bought out of bars are Filipinas and Russian, anyway, the GI is getting something in return for their money: Sex. What is the big deal there? Yes, the Korean Mafia is involved, but that is mostly at the "Glass Houses" that EXCLUDE any foreigners from entering.

i've been to club usa a few times; mostly i hung out at camelot playing pool and occasionally at cosmos. my experience with the women, however, was more that they were bored than actually predatory. the difference, perhaps, being that the majority of the women working the clubs where i hung out were americans.

turning to the dmz, i have not seen any korean drinky girls; as far as i can tell, up here they're all russian and filipina. the big deal? it seems that many of the women are looking for a green card and the easiest way to get one is to get pregnant and pin the paternity on a GI. (maybe they are the fathers; maybe they're not.) while all my information is anecdotal, i've been told that abuse in such marriages is not uncommon, and the financial burden on a young enlisted guy suddenly faced with supporting a wife and (sometimes several) kid(s) can put them into a permanent tailspin.

omg you guys need to get your fucking facts straigt. most of these girls are here to send money to their familes because they are in literally poverty conditions back home. they are respectable for what they do. so what they have sex for money. fuck if i could get 150 dollars to fuck someone i would do it no matter what they looked like. they are the smart ones. you think they dont get any money because the club owner gets it all? ive talked to many girls who sucker their GI boyfriends in to giving them the cash instaed of the bar owner and the GI does it because he is so in love, we are the dumbasses. so get your facts straigt you fucking morons

ok... so lets take this one step at a time first of all these girls know exactly what there doing there selling dirnks and sitting with customers yes some do turn into prostitutes or get forced into it not all most of the clubs are not as bad as we make them out to be beign from America this whole "drinky girl " intreged me to learn all i could about this and why someone would subject themselves to such a lifestyle and once you take them time you learn and open your mind the only thing you can do is gives these girls all your respect there here to take care of there family the phillippines is a poverty stricken country so before you judge them on there job take a step back and put yourself in there situation or get the chance to know one of them and for the gi's who take a filipina home congratulations i hope everything works out well for you there some of the greatest people ive ever meet

First off i will statrt by saying i lived in Guam for 3 years,and i will also say i was in korea for a lengthy visit.Guam and Korea are two totally different places.yes there are prostitues in both places who prefer millitary customer because their pay is guaranteed and they always like entertainment.the difference is most of the girls in korea who are at the bar or massage parlors or strip joints are flat out whores.they do just about anything for a u.s 50 dollar bill.guam girls are without a doubt much prettier than your average korean girl.guam is a u.s territory so the cops keep tabs on most of the places.I know the owner of club u.s.a and i can tell you there is no monkey business goes on in his club,though before he bought the club it was infested with chinese and korean whores the same goes for club vikings but to a much lesser extent.club camelot was a hot place to prompt.here again i knew the owner louie and he didn't stand for that whore mentallity.strippers are strippers and whores are whores.their is a difference!!!!!! i had sex with a few strippers and local girls and never had to pay anything they were good people but like many people today battle with their issues.guam is not anything like korea i'm proud to say you can trust a guam local girl much more than a red light korean girl.all women inevitably are looking for one thing,"security" some people just sell their soul for it. that what is done more common place outside the u.s.a i encourage you to visit guam its not a hawaii its guam learn their culture and people and you will have a fondness for the chamorros of guam.guam girls rock!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the "drinky girls" that I came into contact with knew exactly what they were doing when the were at "work." I have heard all kinds of stories from these girls. From: "I'm working to send money home to my poor family... " to "I'm saving all the money I can to try to go to school for... " Some of the girls were more trustworthy than others, but all of them were there with the intent of becoming a U.S. citizen. None of them were totally inicent. You can't blame them too much considering the working conditions and opportunities "back home." Most of the girls were from the Phillipines and from what I'm told they can only make about $20 for giving up their bodies for a night. At the clubs in Korea these same women can make up to $50 for the same "services." So maybe some of them were sending some money home to ma and pa and maybe some were actually saving for school. The point I'm trying to make here is that you can't judge any of them because you don't know which ones were there against their will and which were there just to make more money than they could back home and which were just trying to become U.S. citizens. Which ever the case may be, can you really blame them for trying to improve there lives so that maybe their children won't have to go to the same extremes.
