Graphics help sought.

S
o let's say I wanted to make a little rectangular graphic for this blog, kind of like the "progressive law bloggers" one over there in the sidebar on the right. Maybe with the title of the blog in those way-cool black letters with the shadows trailing behind them, like at the top of the page, and with my little fluffy doggie on there too. How would I do that, anyway? Just wondering.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements for things like that. It is not as complicated as full-featured Photoshop and it has "recipes" for creating effects such as shadows.

OT: Eric, I was wondering if you have heard of Fort Minor? They're a rap group that has a track about the internment camps believe it or not. It's the first time I've ever seen this issue pop up in pop-culture at all. The title of the track is Kenji.

One way is to solicit volunteer help. :) For powerful free image editing software, try the GIMP for Windows. (I know.) Here's a quick take on your button idea. To use that button, it's a good idea to include the following inside your <img ...> tag: style="border: none"

Any decent paint program should do the trick.

Here's one you can use until you have a chance to make a better one.
