The Times, They Aren't A-Changin'

T
his past Saturday, women at Bob Jones University were invited to a seminar called "Embracing Change." The purpose was to "help women learn how to initiate change in their lives and how to cope with change whether they see it coming or not."

The first part of the seminar was a fashion show of women's clothing by Cold Water Creek. The second part was a makeover, with cosmetics by Estee Lauder and hairstyles by JCPenney.

Don't they mean "seminar"?

Please, please don't give us any more pointers to BJ U. It's like looking at a traffic accident; I couldn't get myself off the site until I'd moused through the whole thing. You missed an important point about the seminar, though; the one and only speaker was Mrs. Erin Jones. Note last name. The details about her courtship with the college president (found in an article about a senior picnic) will haunt me for days. And the article and editorial cartoon about the big controversy on campus -- great googaly moogaly!

I've wiped it from my history file. I'm really afraid that if I go there again, I'll subscribe to their RSS feed.

Bizarre. But Eric, how do you find stuff like this?
