Two Captions.

I don't think it's irrelevant that those two photos and accompanying captions come from two different news organizations; the top one is AP, and the bottom one is AFP. Yeah, on its own, juxtaposed like that, it's bad, but is there some patterned, systematic racial thing going on from a single newsgathering organization?
Shorter: Two data points do not a trend make, although I'm certainly aware of how this kind of thing tends to reinforce the retrograde racial theories of your Malkins and such.

I received these two photo/caption sets today in an email message . . . it is making the rounds. People are sending them around because the statement they make is, truly, remarkable.

It's only significant if the SAME guy wrote both captions. Since that's not the case, there's no way of knowing whether race played a part in the first caption. Perhaps that writer would regard the second couple as looters, too. Professor Muller, when I was in your class, you were a little sharper. Law school seems to be rotting your brain.
