Remembering Heart Mountain

I
'm off to Wyoming today for a board meeting of the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation and, on Saturday, the dedication of our new Walking Tour at the site of the Heart Mountain Relocation Center.

Transportation Secretary (and former Heart Mountain internee) Norman Mineta and former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson are scheduled to speak at Saturday's dedication. I'll blog about it on Saturday, probably with some photos.

Eric, I find your silence on the Durbin flap to be baffling. If during this week, you have a post praising a liberal talk radio show, but do not comment on a Holocaust related controversy, it leaves the distinct impression that if the senator came from the other side of the aisle you might not find it so difficult to find something to say. What gives?

Yah? I'm kinda pleased that Prof. Muller decides to write about the things he wants to write about, which almost no one else is writing about, rather than having to write about what everyone else is writing about. Anyway, the first three blogospheric comments on the Durbin matter were original, everything since has been a ditto.
