Rongeur de Galerie
My family and I wandered into the Centre Commercial La Part Dieu the other day.
It felt as if I had been transported to The Streets at Southpoint back home in North Carolina.
Don't get me wrong: the Streets at Southpoint is a perfectly lovely shopping mall. In the United States, that is. Transplanted overseas, though, it just felt ... wrong. Go here and click on the "Visite virtuelle." Perhaps you'll see what I mean.

My first thought on watching that video was that it looks very similar to a mall here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You could be in France, you could be in Milwaukee. The only way to tell is the language on the signage, which you can't see in the tiny video.
