Reflections on Large Four-Hooved Creatures Jumping Into Small Pools

f you are from South Jersey and over a certain age, I'd wager that there's no way you can look at this photo (taken from this NYT story) of a buffalo appearing to jump over a tennis net and into (or at least near) a small inflatable pool of water ...

... without thinking of this horse diving into a pool of water.


Am I right? Of course I'm right.

I'm from the Black Hills of South Dakota. The picture makes me think of ... buffaloes jumping over a net. Not something you got to see all that often; for one thing, they rarely won the match.
